Happy 4th Birthday Jonathan!!

April 13, 2011 Jonathan turned 4!
We started his special day with his birthday cereal of choice, Fruit Loops.
Later we opened a few presents and ate cake.
He ended his day with his favorite thing, playing baseball with daddy!
We are blessed to have him in our lives!

Here a few things that describe our four year old.
He continues to be very happy and always makes us laugh.
He talks a lot (my mom says it is my revenge) and a little loud too.
He loves music, singing and dancing.
At church he pretends to play the violin or drums while we sing.
He loves baseball, football, basketball (or maybe I should just say sports)
He loves books and would read all day long!
He also loves to pretend and dress up. I never know who he is going to come down for breakfast.
Some of his favorites are Samson, Charlie Church Mouse, Chuck E Cheese, Cubbie bear, and his newest is a soldier.
We love you Jonny!

His zoo cake.

Every time we go to the grocery store he tells me he wants to try these cookies some day.
So, we decided they would make a good birthday treat.

New pillows for his bed!

Back to Chicago

Before heading home we stopped back in Chicago to see my brother Matt and his wife Unity. We had a great time with them. They have a garden and Jonathan LOVED helping them get it ready to plant in. We played at a fun park and visited the zoo. It was a lot of fun to spend time with them

Looking at the ducks

Working in the garden.

This is the face Katelyn made whenever an animal scared her. It was pretty funny!

Sarah and I with our six kids...so fun!

It is pretty difficult to get four toddlers to all look at the camera and smile. Here are our attempts at a picture with all six kids. I especially like looking at what Jack and Katelyn are doing. You never know what those two are up to. =)

Fun At Home

BUDDIES!!!
It is so fun to watch these two grow up together.

and of course we did not forget naptime

Play-dough! This is was just some of our indoor fun. When Sarah and I really needed some quiet we sent them downstairs for "Basement Time," and drank some caffeine to get ready for the next round.

Katelyn and Jack eating pizza. Jack, I love your hair!

Sisterly love!

Breakfast!!

Double trouble...

Every day Uncle Eric took them outside for a bike ride, tree climbing and playing in the sand!

On the days we didn't go out we had a lot of fun at Sarah's house (at times staying home seemed like an adventure all by itself). Jonathan and Josiah had a lot of fun together. I think this is the best they have ever played together!

Adventure #3

Our last outing was to the park and then McDonald's for lunch. As you can see it was a little chilly in Wisconsin. We had fun anyway. My park pictures aren't the best but it'll give you a glimpse of our fun outside.
