Heading Home

We ended the trip with another ride.
The working man earned some quarters so he could ride them.
(Below)
Jonathan got a ride on Grandpa's motorcycle.
He always is telling me he wants one when he gets big. I hope he changes his mind on this one. But he does say he'll wear a helmet.

We stopped to say good-bye to Chaun's family.

On our way back to Kentucky!
It was a great trip. We were incredibly blessed by our families.
Katelyn is still enjoying those apples.

Some More Fun in Meriden

Good-bye! Thanks for everything!!

We wore Grandma and Grandpa out!

I tried to take Ellie's picture at the pumpkin patch.
It didn't turn out great. I also wanted her to wear her pumpkin shirt but everyone thought she was a boy. =(

The next day we headed to a pumpkin patch. This is how the day started...sleepy kids!!

We took Jonathan to a football game at my old high school.

Off to Meriden

Katelyn still has an apple in her mouth
and she climbed a tree (with a little help from grandpa of course).

We tried to take a family picture but it turned out a little funny. Shadows on our face, one kid looking, I must be in pain, and who's legs are those?

Even Ellie got an apple.

Kate's a mess but she's ready to say cheese!

Grandma and Jonny at the apple orchard.

Jonathan testing them out...

Grandpa and Katelyn making sure the apples are good.

Jonathan is a working man named "BerBer."

Next we headed to visit my (Becky) parents. The kids enjoyed the freedom of playing outside. Our first adventure in Meriden was a visit to an apple orchard. We had a lot of fun picking apples!

Back to Have More Fun With Our Cousins

Great Grandma Juanita made Jonathan this cute sandwich.
Jonny enjoyed playing with it and eventually eating it.

Chaun and Katelyn enjoying some dessert pizza.

Uncle Chad feeding Vinnie his first ice cream.

Dylan and Ellie, you can't tell here but he really did have the touch.
He was so good with her.

My sweet nieces, Josie, Lexi and I.

We went out for pizza with Nikki, Chad and the kids. Here is Aunt Nikki, Jonny, and Dylan. Jonathan is a ham!

Next Stop...School

Eating lunch like a big boy!

Mr. Nelson
with my girls (Kate is ready for a nap, can you tell).

One of my "Waterloo moms", Rosie. Rosie always took good care of me. I loved working with her!

This was my last class at Walnut Ridge. They are a sweet bunch of kids!
We had a lot of fun playing with them. It was fun to see them again.

I got to go back to Walnut Ridge (the school I taught at) and visit my students and teachers. It was so fun to see everyone. Jonathan loved playing football with the fifth grade boys and eating lunch in the cafeteria.

Ellie Meets the Bergmeier Family

Snuggling with Dylan

Aunt Nikki and Vinnie

Passed out on Uncle Chad

Josie, Lexi, and Vinnie loving Ellie.

Grandpa Jeff and his girls (minus Ellie)

We got to spend a lot of time with Chaun's family. None of them had meet Ellie yet so we had fun showing her off. I think they had fun snuggling her too.

Hi Ho! Hi Ho! It's Off to Iowa We Go!

Later that day we went to visit Grandpa working on the farm. Jonathan got to ride in a real tractor and semi!!

Cheyanne and Katelyn

Sierra and Katelyn

Our first stop in Iowa was Grandma Sandy and Grandpa Jeff's house.
While we were there we got to see Chaun's cousin Laurie (below) and her family.
Jonathan and Jackson(above) had a great time together.

Jonathan enjoying some rides at the mall.

This fall we headed back to Iowa to show off Ellie to our families. Many times the kids and I make this trip alone but this time we were very excited to have Chaun with us. We forgot to take pictures on our way there but we tried to have fun along the way. We stopped at a small town fair and an outlet mall. The kids did great on our long drive!
