The cousins had lots of fun together. Jonathan was kissing his cousins (Natalie and Josiah). The big girls chased our boys around a lot. Thanks Emily and Alise. Luke shared his toys. It was fun to watch them all interact.
My parents treated us all to a couple of nights at the Holidome for Christmas/Thanksgiving. It was so fun. We swam, played games, shopped at IKEA, took some family pictures, and enjoyed our time together. Thanks dad and mom!
Unity made us a delicious turkey dinner. We had fun celebrating and reflecting on God's goodness to us. Thanks Matt and Unity for letting us all invade. As you can see there were some extra chefs around the house. Lucky for us they had nothing to do with the food.
This is just a random picture I found that I liked. Jonathan still loves balls. He has quite the arm and is working on swinging a bat (well an empty pop bottle is his bat) with his dad. He's making contact every once in awhile!
Here are some random pictures of Jonathan that I didn't put on earlier but thought they were cute. His new thing has been to wear Chaun's hat and walk around with it over his eyes. It is pretty funny but a little dangerous too.
I thought it would be fun to post a picture of Sarah and I. We are having so much fun with our boys and are excited to have babies close together again.
Sarah and Eric came to Louisville to visit us. It was so fun to see Jonathan and Josiah run around together and play cars. Jonathan was trying to teach Josiah how to put a lot of food in his mouth. I think he thought he was eating too slow. We went to the zoo and had fun looking at the animals, splashing in the water and sliding down the slide. Thanks for coming!
Our friends gave us this cute duck outfit so we put it on Jonathan and took him to church for Trunk or Treat. He had no idea what was going on but he was pretty cute. He got to eat a little bit of a sucker and loved it. Sadly our best picture of him was in the bathroom holding his shoes. He is with his friends Jake(batman), Jed (pirate) and Luke the little turtle.
We arrived safely home. We were glad to see Chaun and he was even more happy to see us. Jonathan was amazing both coming and going. He was a happy traveler. I was proud of him!
We got to visit a lot of our special friends in Waterloo. We miss everyone so much. Sadly I didn't get pictures of everyone we saw. Sorry Nikkels and Vandersee girls! Next time we will do better. I have a picture of Cooper that is too cute not to put on. Sadly I didn't get Jonathan and Cooper together. Here are a few of the people we saw.
Mom took Jonathan and I shopping one day. We had a great time. Well, Jonathan endured pretty happily but it was probably not his favorite day. Do you like his new hat? We ate at Olive Garden, yummy! Thanks for all the treats mom!
More fun at Grandpa's and Grandma's. Snuggling with Grandma, horse rides with Grandpa, playing outside at the sand table. He took a huge bite of sand. Let's just say he didn't think it tasted good. It was very funny!
It has been cool but beautiful in Iowa. I love fall! We went to the park today. Jonathan loved going down the slide, however he went down on his tummy every time. There were lots of walnuts so he was excited about all the "balls" lying around.
