Ready for the parade to begin
The Kentucky Derby is a big deal around here. It is hard to not get excited about the race. There was a big parade to celebrate so we decided to check it out. Jonathan LOVED it. He danced to all the marching bands and enjoyed the big balloons. Katelyn loved seeing all the horses. On Derby day I decided to make a cake with an attempt at a horse track on it. We watched the Derby with some friends and ate cake and ice cream.

ohhhhh...we miss all the derby fun! i DID make a derby pie though that weekend! looks like you guys had fun! love all the new pictures. i can't believe ellie is 8 months, or rather almost 9 months old already!
