This is how we entertained Jonathan in the car. We took a tray (used for breakfast in bed) and made a table for him. He drove his cars on the road of books. It worked great!

We had some spare time before the wedding and found this park with beautiful waterfalls.
On New Years Day we headed to South Carolina to see our good friends, Nik and Kristi, get married. We hit a couple of bumps in the road but had a great time! Chaun got to see the mountains for the first time, we drove through a part of the country neither of us had see, enjoyed a beautiful wedding, and time with dear friends!

We had a great time and our bump on the road was when we got lost on our own. We went way out of our way but really got to see the mountains. Don't worry about your detour, that was actually our fault as well. (and that was a pretty drive too).
