Just in case it was our last spring in Louisville we wanted to see the big display, so we bundled up and headed downtown to watch the big fireworks!  The kids were so excited! 

Ben slept through most of it, but I got a quick picture first!

Happy 6th Birthday!

6 Years Old!  I can't believe it!  We celebrated with his favorite thing...sports. He got a new basketball.

He really wanted a basketball cake. I could not make it so we bought him a basketball cake.

He is Risen!!

We were given the  best gift ever so we celebrated that gift. Jesus' death and resurrection was the best thing that ever happened to me.  I praying my children trust in Jesus and love him with all their heart.

We had a fun dinner with our friends and neighbors and then they surprised my kids with a super fun Easter Egg hunt.

Good Friday

Some friends invited us over for lunch on Good Friday

We talked about how Jesus died on the cross for our sins

We ate food that reminded us of the Easter story, tomb stones, carrot thorns, cheese crosses, (mount of) Olives and crackers

We drank out of fancy glasses

We had so much fun remembering the greatest gift God gave us, Jesus!
