For the Baby

Jonathan was at a garage sale with me and wanted to buy the baby something to wear.  He said "I don't want the baby to spend his first day without clothes!"

We had to get him a baseball outfit!

The Kentucky Derby

Jonathan worked hard at making his own Kentucky Derby.  He started on the little table but it just wasn't big enough.

He moved to a bigger table so he could have a bigger infield and the starting gates.

Then everyone dressed up to go to the Derby.

Getting closer

I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is going!  It won't be long and we'll be holding this sweet baby boy.  I've been feeling pretty good, a little tired but that is to be expected.  I've been organizing and getting ready so I guess the nesting has begun.

Birthday Party

The birthday boy AKA Spider man asked for a super hero cake.

Getting ready for the party

We painted super hero masks, played a lot of games, and of course ate cake and ice cream.

Villain bowling.  The heroes had to see how many villains they could defeat.

Happy Birthday Jonathan!

I can't believe this is true but my little boy is now FIVE!  Wasn't he just born? We love this sweet guy! He is happy, funny, imaginative, and kind.  He loves music, books, coloring, sports, and super heroes.  He can play for hours at a time, makes us laugh, and loves his sisters.  We started his big day with the cereal of his choice Cocoa Puffs!
We had a super hero birthday!

With some chocolate almonds thrown in (takes after his daddy).
Joker ( you need a bad guy for the super heroes to defeat)
The Wolverine
A stuffed hulk
Even Ellie joined the super hero fun!

My sweet girl

I threw this picture in for fun.  Sadly I did not get take very many pictures with Chaun's family.  We visited them again on our way home and then headed back to Kentucky.  We had great time seeing everyone and are thankful to the Lord for a safe trip.
