Our Sweet Boy

We continue to be entertained daily by this silly guy. He constantly makes us laugh. Recently I have realized how big he's gotten since moving to Louisville. So, I thought I should show you what he's up to lately.
He loves to build and play with his little people. The picture above shows our church service. The tiger is the worship leader with the choir behind him.

He still loves to sing. Above is the microphone and stand he created. I wish I could video tape him during church. He plays the violin or the drums with the band while we sing. It is so cute.
He also made a strap for his guitar (with some help with his dad).

Sunday in the Park

Natalie, the country music star.

Cousins!

The boys, sticking together.

We ended our weekend together with church, some UNO Attack and playing at the park by the river. It was great to spend time with them. Thank you so much for coming!

Fun with the Ostercamp Cousins

It didn't take Katelyn long to warm up to her Uncle Dave.

Making supper, chicken strips and fries. Thanks for helping!

Natalie and Luke having fun. Luke brought a boat to drive in the water.

Ellie went swimming a little too.
I wasn't really planning on her swimming so she didn't have her swim suit on.

Fun at the pool! Katelyn was up a little past her bedtime.
It looks like she could fall asleep in the pool.

My brother Dave and his family came from Chicago to visit us. We were so glad to have them here. We started our fun with a walk to a park (the weather was perfect), supper and a swim at Southern.

A Fun Day at the Zoo!

The kids LOVE the zoo! Jonathan especially loves the gorillas and penguins. Katelyn just gets excited about it all.

Happy Valentines Day

Jonathan came down stairs this morning and said, "Daddy I can't carry all those hearts and that candy downstairs." Chaun sent me to see what he needed help with. I found these sweet paper hearts surrounded with my favorite candy. They had planned this last night while I thought they were sleeping. So sweet!

I tried to make our day special to show my family how much I love them.
We had heart pancakes for breakfast.
Opened a fun present from Grandma and Grandpa Ostercamp

I was trying to get the girls in their Valentine jammies but of course I couldn't get them both to look and smile. I picked a smiling Ellie because it is the only picture I took of her today.

For supper I tried to make heart shaped pizzas. I need to practice that a little more but they did taste yummy!

Chaun and I did end our day with a date to Dairy Queen (I've been craving a blizzard-and since we can't have one made of snow I'll take ice cream instead) =)
I love my family! I am so blessed by them.

A Beautiful Day

One of my friends made Katelyn this cute outfit for her birthday. She loves the shirt because she loves shoes. =)

Ellie having fun at the park

It was a beautiful day today, so the girls walked to the park with a friend while the boys played baseball. Katelyn saw Jonathan wearing a hat and a sweatshirt and wanted both for herself. So we happened to have a purple hat (that is a little small) she wore to the park. I think we might have to find her a hat for the summer. She looks a little silly but it was cute that she wanted to be like her big brother.

Iowa Comes to Kentucky

Southern had a conference for college student. About 15 students came from Iowa and during one of their lunch breaks they took us out. It was a blessing and lots of fun to see them.
Our kids had a great time too!
