Jonathan and Ellie

I am adding a picture of Jonathan so you can compare the two and see if you see the similarities. I wish I would have had this outfit of Jonathan's to put on Ellie. Then I think they really would look like.
(I am also having trouble figuring out my blog. I couldn't figure out how to put these pictures side by side or how to get the words to be at the top of the page. Sorry!)
This will be the last time you see this picture of Ellie. I like it better when she looks like a girl. =)

and the answer is...

Ellie!!

Four Months

Sisters...

Finding her tongue

Time is flying by! Sweet Ellie Mae is four months old already. She is a growing like crazy! She weighs 12 lbs 15 oz and is 24 inches long. She smiles all the time. I love her big smile and sparkly blue eyes. She has laughed once for my friend Kristen. I love kissing her chubby cheeks. She coos and talks to us and grabs at her toys. She has rolled over once too but I haven't caught her rolling over again (although I think she can). She has had two ear infections, which made her a little sad for a few days. Other than that she is a happy, laid back, easy going baby who can sleep through just about anything.

Attempts at Pictures...

Here are some of my attempts at pictures on Christmas Sunday.
It was a little tricky...

Merry Christmas!

I had a hard time capturing Katelyn with any of her presents, but I caught her here.

Jonathan's new scooter!

Katelyn got a new baby. This baby cried and laughed. I showed Katelyn and she ran away scared of the doll. She wouldn't touch it for quite awhile (even after I took the battery pack out). However, now she loves it.

But she did wake up enough to give us a big smile.

Ellie slept through most of the fun.

We had a wonderful Christmas morning together as a family. We read the Christmas story together and opened some gifts from Grandma and Grandpa and each other. We were thankful for some fun presents, but
we are most thankful for the gift Jesus!

Christmas Morning

Jonathan and Katelyn woke up to stockings from mom and dad. Then we ate some yummy coffee cake for breakfast and I attempted to get a picture in front of the tree in our new jammies.
