Fall Fun with Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins

This weekend Uncle Matt was in town to plan a conference and came to visit. Aunt Sarah, Uncle Eric, Josiah and Jack also came for a visit. We had a lot of fun together. The boys played a lot of football, we went on a couple of walks, went to the zoo and enjoyed being together. Jonathan and Josiah had a great time playing tackle football and had to wear their football jerseys while they played. It was too cute. (Do you see Jack in the background, he's wearing his jersey? He is patiently waiting to join the fun.) PS All of these pictures are Aunt Sarah's. Hopefully I didn't steal too many!

Picking Apples

I told Jonathan to say cheese. This was the smile I got. Then he sat on the wagon with this smile long after I took the picture. He had everyone on the wagon laughing.

He also saw some ducks, mules, and baby goats.

These two were so cute running in and out of the trees. Jonathan was busy filling his sack with apples.

I think Katelyn had fun too.

Today we went to a farm to pick apples and pumpkins with Jack and Josie. Jonathan loved it! He loved riding the tractor out to the fields. I am going to try to take a video of Jonathan telling you about the adventure. We'll see if it works. Check tomorrow...

Splashing in the Bath

Katelyn LOVES her bath! She kicks and splashes like crazy.
She is worn out when she's done with a bath. Jonathan loves
to watch her. He laughs and laughs at her.

"Reading" the Bible

Jonathan got out his Bible today and "read" it to Katelyn. It was so sweet. Here he is reenacting it for me. He says: "Katelyn, God created the heavens and the earth" Of course he is hamming it up a little more than he did when there was no camera taping him.
CHARGE!! The music at the end is Katelyn's touch. She hit a button on a toy right at the end.

Friends

This is our newest friend Alexa. She lives above us. Jonathan and Alexa love to play together. They knock on each others doors almost every day.

Every Friday our friend Adelyn comes to play. Jonathan loves to make the girls laugh.

Little Panthers

Kate is always laughing at her big brother. She thinks he's pretty funny! Hopefully that's always true.

The night we took these matching pictures Jonathan decided he loved the sweatshirt and hood. He slept with the hood up and then ran around all morning the next day wearing his "jacket and hood." The picture above is him in bed that night. (I do think he got too hot because he didn't sleep too well. I did take it off in the middle of the night and boy did he scream!! Lesson learned: Put him in bed with pajamas on next time!)

At Christmas time my kids got some matching University of Northern Iowa outfits. Katelyn just grew into hers so I thought we should take some pictures of them in their matching Purple and Gold. Kate is wondering "What is he up to now?!"

Pretty Girl

I had to post this picture! I thought Katelyn looked so big. She really is tiny but she is a go getter. She is all ready for church in her pretty little dress. Speaking of church she got moved up early (in the nursery) because she was crawling all over the babies making them cry.
