A Fun Day at the Zoo!

The kids LOVE the zoo! Jonathan especially loves the gorillas and penguins. Katelyn just gets excited about it all.

Happy Valentines Day

Jonathan came down stairs this morning and said, "Daddy I can't carry all those hearts and that candy downstairs." Chaun sent me to see what he needed help with. I found these sweet paper hearts surrounded with my favorite candy. They had planned this last night while I thought they were sleeping. So sweet!

I tried to make our day special to show my family how much I love them.
We had heart pancakes for breakfast.

Opened a fun present from Grandma and Grandpa Ostercamp

I was trying to get the girls in their Valentine jammies but of course I couldn't get them both to look and smile. I picked a smiling Ellie because it is the only picture I took of her today.

For supper I tried to make heart shaped pizzas. I need to practice that a little more but they did taste yummy!

Chaun and I did end our day with a date to Dairy Queen (I've been craving a blizzard-and since we can't have one made of snow I'll take ice cream instead) =)
I love my family! I am so blessed by them.

A Beautiful Day

One of my friends made Katelyn this cute outfit for her birthday. She loves the shirt because she loves shoes. =)

It was a beautiful day today, so the girls walked to the park with a friend while the boys played baseball. Katelyn saw Jonathan wearing a hat and a sweatshirt and wanted both for herself. So we happened to have a purple hat (that is a little small) she wore to the park. I think we might have to find her a hat for the summer. She looks a little silly but it was cute that she wanted to be like her big brother.

Iowa Comes to Kentucky

Southern had a conference for college student. About 15 students came from Iowa and during one of their lunch breaks they took us out. It was a blessing and lots of fun to see them.
Our kids had a great time too!

Happy Birthday Katelyn!!
We threw Katelyn a polka dotted party. The walls were covered with polka dots. We played with circle stickers, polka dots of play dough and musical polka dots. We ate lots of polka dotted treats and a giant cupcake.
Here are a few facts about our sweet 2 year old:
She LOVES dolls and shoes.
She is very tiny (21 pounds)
She is definitely a daddy's girl
She is slowly talking more and more
She doesn't really like food (unless it is sweet)
Breakfast is her favorite meal. She does love oatmeal and eggs.
She makes lots of funny faces, loves to climb, is spunky and yet sensitive.
We love you Katelyn!!

Five Months

Eleanor is now five months old!
She is full of smiles and happy screams.
She still loves her thumb. She is grabbing toys and her toes.
She has rolled from her back to her tummy. She laughs and "talks."
Jonathan said to her "I don't want Benjamin, I don't want Carson (both our boy names for Ellie) I just want Ellie!" She is loved! I love to kiss her chubby little cheeks!

Feeling Better + Beautiful Weather

Our family finally is feeling better. We had beautiful weather for the weekend so we celebrated being healthy again and went to the zoo. The kids love the zoo (and it was even more fun to have daddy with us)!
