We got to spend a lot of time with Chaun's family. None of them had meet Ellie yet so we had fun showing her off. I think they had fun snuggling her too.

Hi Ho! Hi Ho! It's Off to Iowa We Go!

Later that day we went to visit Grandpa working on the farm. Jonathan got to ride in a real tractor and semi!!

Our first stop in Iowa was Grandma Sandy and Grandpa Jeff's house.
While we were there we got to see Chaun's cousin Laurie (below) and her family.
Jonathan and Jackson(above) had a great time together.

This fall we headed back to Iowa to show off Ellie to our families. Many times the kids and I make this trip alone but this time we were very excited to have Chaun with us. We forgot to take pictures on our way there but we tried to have fun along the way. We stopped at a small town fair and an outlet mall. The kids did great on our long drive!

Sweet Baby

This post is out of order but here is my newborn Ellie...where did she go. My top picture is Ellie at 6 weeks (Its not the best picture ever...stay tuned for some more). It has been a very fast 6 weeks and I love this little girl so much!! I have been reminded lately to treasure every moment with my children because time goes so fast.

It was a beautiful day here so we went with some friends to a nearby petting zoo. Katelyn and Jonathan had a great time. Jonathan had so much fun I had a hard catching a good picture of him.

This picture is kind of funny. Ellie actually doesn't really like her pacifier.
She is doing great. She slept through the night once (we'll see if it was a fluke). She is busting out of the newborn clothes. I might have to put some of those away. We find out tomorrow how big she is. Stay tuned...

Chaun and I think she is getting so big already! It is kind of sad but we want her to grow of course. It goes too fast...
She is still a very sweet, happy baby and she still loves to cuddle!

More Fun With Josiah and Jack

Josiah had a puppy hat he let Jonny play with. Jonathan loved it and pretended to be a dog whenever he wore it. It was pretty funny. His dad wasn't too sad when it had to go home with Josiah.

Katelyn LOVED this toy. She played with it the whole time Sarah was here.

I took this picture to show the difference between Jonathan and Josiah (oops I was trying to get Jonny from the waist up). The two boys were playing at the water table. Jonathan was soaked...his clothes, his hair. Josiah was completely dry and dressed.

They even let Katelyn join them.

By the end of the weekend the boys were finally playing nice together.
