Katelyn Turns One!

Mmmm, those look good!

This picture is out of order but it is Katelyn on the morning of her birthday.

This looks fun! Too bad it is empty.

Her present. She is not sure what to think.

Our sweet girl turned one on February 4th.
I can't believe it has been one year already!!
She is growing and changing everyday.
She is trying to walk but still finds crawling much faster.
She loves to "play" with Jonathan.
She doesn't love solid food but we are slowly making progress.
She does love sweet potatoes and yogurt.
She has 12 teeth!
She weighs 15 pounds and is my little peanut!
She is full of smiles and brings much joy into our lives.
We love you Baby Cakes!!!

God is Good!

Celebrating all our hard work/fun at Applebees! Yummy!! Thanks for all your help Grandma and Grandpa. We had a lot of fun!

I put this picture in so you had an idea of how neat the museum was (although this doesn't do it justice). The people looked so real. We walked through creation, the fall, Noah's Ark and much more.

We also went to the creation museum. It was amazing!

Katelyn crawling through the giant baseball glove.

In the midst of moving and cleaning we tried to have some fun with Grandma and Grandpa too. We went to the Louisville Slugger museum. Jonathan had a great time hitting (too bad he didn't ever get to enjoy HITS, boy he would have loved it).

January was a big month. We found out that a three bedroom apartment with washer/dryer hookups (not many apartments have washer/dryer hookups) was available at our apartment complex. To make a long story shorter we decided to snag it while we could. So we had about two weeks to find someone to rent our apartment and move. Once again we saw the Lord provide for us in many ways: we found someone to rent our apartment; Jeff and Sandy were able to come to help us move; and we found out a week after we took our apartment that we are expecting our third baby!!!! That means we would have had to move in July and God provided for us before we even realized how much we needed the three bedroom apartment (and that it had washer/dryer hookups to top it off, an extra blessing). So we are excited to welcome Baby Bergmeier #3 on September 3rd!

Louisville Snowstorm

Sledding down our little hill on a cookie sheet (he wasn't too sure about
that idea).

Busy cleaning off the cars

We finally did get a small snowstorm in Louisville. Jonathan and Alexa had fun playing outside in it. Jonathan did not want to come in.

Road Trip South Carolina

This is how we entertained Jonathan in the car. We took a tray (used for breakfast in bed) and made a table for him. He drove his cars on the road of books. It worked great!

Snuggling at the end of a big day.

Katelyn is not so sure about this...

Our sweet friend, Nadya. Jonathan was glad to see her.

Our family with the happy couple

We had some spare time before the wedding and found this park with beautiful waterfalls.

On New Years Day we headed to South Carolina to see our good friends, Nik and Kristi, get married. We hit a couple of bumps in the road but had a great time! Chaun got to see the mountains for the first time, we drove through a part of the country neither of us had see, enjoyed a beautiful wedding, and time with dear friends!

Our Second Christmas

Thanks everyone! We had a great time seeing everybody and appreciate the gifts very much!

Chad and Nikki's kids got snuggies for Christmas. The girls had an extra pink one so I had to try it out. Here we are in our pink snuggies.

Katelyn sitting with Aunt Nikki and Josie (sorry Josie I only got half of you pretty face!).

Snuggling with Uncle Chad

Jonathan and his cousin Josie snuggling with Grandma and Grandpa

I am sure Katelyn loved her presents too. Sadly I didn't get very good pictures of her with them. We'll have to take some of her playing with them at home and then post those.

Aunt Nikki and Uncle Chad gave him a talking dump truck.

On our way back to Kentucky we got stop and see Chaun's family for a couple of days. It was great to see them and our kids got very spoiled. Above is Jonathan with his new fire station. He was very excited about it!

Our Christmas Production

and the whole cast

The cute little shepherds, Jonathan and Josiah.

Our beautiful angels, Emily and Alise.

Sarah and I decided to have all the cousins act out the Christmas story as a way to remember the real reason we celebrate Christmas. We found some fun costumes and props at church and used the stage for our production. Above is Mary and Joseph (AKA Natalie and Luke).

Lots of fun at Grandma and Grandpa Os

All of the grandkids together...all of them smiling and looking is another story.

We love having the gym next door to us. When the kids get a little stir crazy we can run over there and run off their energy.

More stories, I added this one because I like Jonathan and Josiah's matching shirts. They matched a lot but we did not get very many pictures of them. Sad bananas!! Hopefully next time.

More snuggling...Grandma and her two babies.

Games, stories, food and a craft project with Aunt Sarah.

Snuggling with Uncle Dave

Of course there was story time with Grandma. Jonathan was hugging my mom like this and then looked up at here and said "I love you Grandma!" If that doesn't melt a grandma's heart I don't know what would.

Along with playing games there was lots of cooking and delicious food! Emily and Unity are whipping a cherry pie.

Brotherly love!

Jonathan and Natalie became best buds this trip (well at least Jonathan had fun chasing Natalie around)!

Playing Five Crowns...a favorite at the Ostercamps

Katelyn and Aunt Anita (look at their beautiful blue eyes)
