Jonathan's 2nd Hair Cut

You tell by the picture what he thought of the whole thing!

Tara Payne gave Jonathan his 2nd hair cut while we were in Waterloo. Jonathan hated every second of it, but Tara did a fantastic job despite his screams and wiggling around. Every time time the scissors cut he said "owie, owie". We decided he did not like the hair falling on him. Thanks Tara! I love it. (See the post above for the final results)

On new years eve we headed to Iowa for Christmas. Chaun got off of work at 3:00am so we headed out at 3:45 am, hoping Jonathan would sleep the first three hours. He decided to only sleep about an hour and a half at 7:00am. Even with the lack of sleep Jonathan did great in the car. It was a long drive but great to be there. We spent New Years day celebrating Christmas with Grandma Sandy, Grandpa Jeff and Chad and Nikki's family. We were blessed by their kindness and Jonathan had fun with his cousins.

Christmas in Kentucky

We enjoyed our first Christmas in Kentucky with just our immediate family. We had a nice quiet day. Chaun read the Christmas story. Jonathan got a basketball hoop so he had fun with his dad shooting hoops (I am not sure who had more fun). I attempted my first turkey/Christmas dinner. I have few things to work on but overall it was not too bad. We missed our families but enjoyed our day and remembering God's faithfulness to us.
