Visiting Lots of Friends

We got to visit a lot of our special friends in Waterloo. We miss everyone so much. Sadly I didn't get pictures of everyone we saw. Sorry Nikkels and Vandersee girls! Next time we will do better. I have a picture of Cooper that is too cute not to put on. Sadly I didn't get Jonathan and Cooper together. Here are a few of the people we saw.

Shopping With Mom and Grandma

Mom took Jonathan and I shopping one day. We had a great time. Well, Jonathan endured pretty happily but it was probably not his favorite day. Do you like his new hat? We ate at Olive Garden, yummy! Thanks for all the treats mom!

More fun in Iowa

More fun at Grandpa's and Grandma's. Snuggling with Grandma, horse rides with Grandpa, playing outside at the sand table. He took a huge bite of sand. Let's just say he didn't think it tasted good. It was very funny!

Playing at the Park

It has been cool but beautiful in Iowa. I love fall! We went to the park today. Jonathan loved going down the slide, however he went down on his tummy every time. There were lots of walnuts so he was excited about all the "balls" lying around.

Where's the Puppies?

This is one of Jonathan's favorite questions but today it was my mom and I's question. Jonathan had been playing with five little puppies. I went to get the puppies and couldn't find them anywhere. Mom and I looked everywhere and asked Jonathan where they were. He would just repeat us and act like he had no idea. Look at the pictures and see if you can find the puppies. Lucky for us Grandpa knew where the puppies were or we would still be looking.

Going to the Ice Cream Truck WIth Uncle Chad

Jonathan and I made it safely to Waterloo after about 10 hours on the road and scaring Grandma O, Grandpa O, and Chaun (you'll have to ask about that story). We had fun visiting all our friends and family. I didn't take enough pictures so hopefully I'll get some more on the way home. Jonathan was amazing in the car. He hardly fussed. He just played with his toys and looked at books. It was a blessing. Here Jonathan is with his Uncle Chad at the ice cream truck. Chad and the kids took off chasing the truck. Jonathan was so excited, even though he didn't know why. He danced all the way down the street (on Chad's shoulders). He even got a Spiderman ice cream treat. Thanks Uncle Chad!

Here is a little side story of God's faithfulness to us before I left. Our car had a flat tire, so we pumped it up and took it to the shop. As the mechanic pulled it into the garage the brakes went out. Five minutes earlier and Chaun would have been driving in busy traffic and it would have caused a bad accident. I am thankful for the Lord's protection!

Hard at Work (Or is it Play?)

Jonathan spent hours playing with his farm today. He rearranged the animals and people over and over. I wish I knew what was going on in that head of his. Here are few pictures of his hard work.
