We made it to my parents house just in time for the BLIZZARD of the Century! We got between 18 and 20 inches of snow. I was so excited to have a white Christmas. Jonathan got to play in the snow for the first time and he LOVED it! I had to drag him in everytime. He got play on a sled, make snow angels and crawl through some of the best snow tunnels ever (thanks to his uncles and cousins). It was really fun to watch his excitement over the snow. He was really sad when we came back to Kentucky and it was gone.

Fun With Friends
Katelyn's friend, Addy, comes to play every Friday. We love Addy! It is so cute to see them chasing each other around and laughing at Jonathan.
They also love it when Chaun plays with them. Here they are watching a commercial that Jonathan thinks is very funny. Someday we will video him acting it out and post it.
Whenever Alexa comes she asks for a blanket and a pillow so she can take a nap. Jonathan usually joins her but isn't always so sure about the idea. It cracks me up!!
I haven't done a good job taking pictures lately and I can't get my videos to upload, so I haven't updated in a while. Jonathan has been having los of fun with our neighbor Alexa. We love having her over to play. Here they are singing and dancing. Don't you love Jonathan's facial expression? They were singing into oatmeal containers. It was pretty funny.

Stop Number Three: Waterloo, Hudson, Winthrop Iowa
Aren't they cute!
Sadly I once again I failed at getting a picture of my kids with Grandma Sandy and Grandpa Jeff ( I am sorry!!!) We had a great time with them. Jonathan got to ride in the skid loader, see a farm, pick out a toy at WalMart (he picked a garbage truck of all the toys...I guess he's taking after his dad) and played with their cars. Thanks for everything! We love and miss you!
These are my favorite pictures of the weekend. The kids were getting a ride from Grandpa Jeff. It was a little chilly but fun!
Jonathan had lots of fun playing with Uncle Chad and Josie this visit. Here Katelyn is snuggling with Uncle Chad and Lexi. Kate was missing her dad so Uncle Chad was filling in for him, by loving up our kids.
On our last stop we got see more family and friends. I always wish I had more pictures of the people we saw. We visited Walnut Ridge, spent an evening with the Nikkels, and with the Paynes. We got to spend Thanksgiving with Chaun's family before we headed home. Although we had a great trip we were very glad to be home and see Chaun! Jonathan kept saying "I'm going to hug my daddy and kiss him!"
Stop Number two: Meriden Iowa
Thanks for a great time! We enjoyed every minute with you. Thanks for everything!
We love and miss you lots!

After the wedding the kids and I spent the week at my mom and dads. It was wonderful and very relaxing. We went and visited Grandma at her school (Jonathan loved it! He fit right in), played outside, visited Grandpa at his office (Jonathan loved going to dads office because Grandpa had a bowl of M & Ms on his desk), played in the gym at church, went shopping, played with all of Grandmas fun toys, and of course read books.
Stop Number One: Grand Island Nebraska
Jonathan and Josiah had a great time together once again. I love watching them play together. It is so fun to see them grow up together. This is probably my favorite picture from the wedding. I love seeing them together and having fun with my dad. Precious memories!
If you ask Jonathan what Uncle Matt says to him he says "HEY BUDDY!" They had fun together too (even if Uncle Matt did steal his marshmellow).
I haven't updated in awhile because we (the kids and I) have been busy traveling around Iowa and Nebraska while Chaun studies. We were gone a little over two weeks and put close to 2,000 miles on our van (and that doesn't include our trip to Nebraska). My kids spent about 34 hours in a van during these two weeks. They were amazing little travelers though. Jonathan was so excited to see all his Grandparents he could hardly get to sleep the night before our trip. But about half way there he said "Mommy, I don't want to go to Grandma and Grandpa's. I want to go home." What he didn't realize was that home was a lot further than Grandma and Grandpa's at that point. That was about the only complaint I heard from him. And he had a lot of fun with his Grandparents in the end.
We started our trip with a wedding in Nebraska. My cousin Liz got married. It was great to see my aunt and uncle and cousins. So once again Sarah, Eric, and her two boys, mom, dad, Jonathan, Katelyn, and I piled into the church van and headed to Nebraska.

Family Pictures
This fall we had a friend of mine take our family pictures. She did a great job. I am posting a few of my favorites. It was hard to choose. So if you want a picture or two let me know which ones and what size and I'll do my best to get it to you. I might have to post some more later, there are many more that I like.

Sweet Jack
Dressing Up
My tough football players.
Chaun did not come with us on our adventure but he did join the fun before we went. The next day Jonathan wanted him to dress up again! Jonny would wear his football jersey every day if I let him.

The kids and I got invited to go to a neighborhood party with a friend and then trick or treating. I really like candy and my friend so we went (even though Chaun and I haven't decided what we think of celebrating Halloween). I have to say Jonathan was super funny running up to the houses and saying trick or treat (and thank you of course). He barreled up the driveways looking exactly like a linebacker.
